About

My craft is hairdressing but I believe my calling is teaching.  I've dedicated the majority of my career to developing professional stylists through education and inspiration.  I’ve drawn from my years of experience behind the chair, backstage and on set - primarily based in NYC's fashion and beauty industry.

The hunger to learn and to surround myself with like-minded artists brought me to NYC.  New York provided me with the incredible opportunity to meet, learn from, and collaborate with exceptionally creative hair artists from around the world.  I’ve worked with backstage teams for hundreds of fashion shows over the last two decades with renowned stylists, such as Eugene Souleiman, Laurent Philippon, Jimmy Paul and James Pecis, and my ability to lead a team backstage to greatness has not gone unnoticed.

Background

Throughout my career, I developed the ability to extract and translate the visions and concepts of talented artists into knowledge to be shared with others. My expertise was developed and honed during my long tenure at Bumble and bumble, where I was tasked with creating renowned educational programs for Bb.U. Credited by thousands of alumni, these programs are recognized as the benchmark for continuing education in the industry today.

What is it?

Robins' Nest represents hair artistry with fashion roots.  Drawing on my extensive background, I founded Robins' Nest where I offer a unique approach to education. I believe passionately in collaboration and curiosity, and I seek to inspire and nurture those ideals in everything I do.

In addition to Robins’ Nest, I maintain my practice behind the chair and on set, work backstage during fashion week, and offer consulting services to beauty brands as a hair expert.
